Family and friends. Firstly, we are well and healthy. But we are sad and anxious. It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but now more than every, I think we need to stay connected. Even though Instagram is just a tiny glimpse into our daily lives, and 99.9% just the good stuff, I love seeing my family and friends photos. And I feel like the same is reciprocated. So i am going to try to start sharing more again. Trying to reach out in the tiniest way i can do right now. We miss our nieces and nephews. Our brothers and sisters. Our friends who are hundreds of miles away as well as our friends who are just minutes away. The isolation is deafening and seeing your photos, even if it’s just clouds in the sky, your furry family, a crafted project or the kids throwing a ball, it gives me joy. I know Insta can sometimes feel one-sided and superficial. But it’s a connection. A small connection. And right now, it’s an extended hand out to my loved ones. A glimpse of what is happening, what has happened, or what we might think will happen. We will get through this. It has already been a very bumpy road and it may be a very long road with a lot more potholes ahead. But in the meantime, I’m getting back on here and sharing a sliver of what is filling (or breaking) my heart.

Lovely photo. I have a feeling I am going to blogging more, too.

Yes it is a bumpy road but we will get to the end of this, it may take a little time but going slowly, you can look at the scenery!!!
