75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge

Here's a cool movie from open day on May 27th, 1937.
From the owner of the video:
May 27, 1937, the opening ot the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The public was invited to "Walk the Bridge" to see this incredible achievement of American engineering expertise. My wife's Uncle was there and took his 8MM movie camera. Apparently he was one of the few to do so. The resulting video is precious because it is rare, but also because so many people have been affected by this great and famous bridge. Many people have relatives who "Walked the Bridge" that day. If you are one of those, I hope you spot your relative.

Also, be sure to visit www.GoldenGateBridge75.org for lots of other information about the bridge and planned festivities to celebrate the 75th anniversary.
