Combine all these ingredients + some cooked chicken and you'll have Asian Chicken Salad.
I have a bad habit of forgetting to take a finished photo, probably because I'm too focused on eating. LOL.
I got my inspiration from 2 similar recipes from allrecipe.com. (1) Chinese Napa Cabbage Salad and (2) Summer Cabbage Salad.
My slight modifications: chives instead of green onion. Added a lot of cilantro. Next time I'll use less oil. I'm not used to oil in my dressings, so it felt overly oily. Instead of 1/4c, maybe I'll use 2 Tablespoons canola + 1T sesame oil. and it doesn't need that much butter to stirfry the noodles/almonds/sesame seeds, maybe 1-2T max, not a 1/4 cup. I suspect you could get away with using a cooking spray but those sprays seem to always ruin my cookware.
If you know Jimmy, you know that he wouldn't eat that salad. So I also made a homemade pizza. Well, not completely homemade. the dough is from Trader Joes. At least it's not take-out. This was only the 2nd time I've used my pizza stone. I've had it for 4 or 5 years, so I feel I really need to use it more to justify keeping it. I've heard you could bake cookies on it. Does anyone have more information about that? If so, do they turn out better than on a cookie sheet?
