Ringing It In

Happy New Year!!!

Said goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012 with Jimmy's sister and the Bowens. Around 11:30pm, we all walked to the Embarcadero to watch the fireworks show that began precisely at midnight. WOW, there were soooo many people there. This was our 4th year to watch the fireworks in SF and it's never been this crowded. We were surrounded by tons of people celebrating the New Year. And of course, the fireworks display was beyond amazing. It's a wonderful way to ring in the new year, starting it off with our dearest friends and family.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating the beginning of this New Year...let's see how it unfolds....

oooo ... sounds like a good time in SF! My small town had fireworks too, but at 8:45pm instead of midnight, just so the mums and dads could get the little ones to bed! But I saw some fireworks and heard some bangs going off at midnight anyway!
Happy New Year to you and Jimmy. May 2012 be good to you, lots of blogging and scrapping and travel and fun times. Keep smiling! WOOHOO!

We stood on a walkway of our apartment complex, Mad, to watch the fireworks in our city. Private displays are allowed here in the Netherlands, so we never know what to expect. Always a treat for the eyes! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
