Yup, I failed with keeping up my daily posts for this month. Basically, since I left off on the 15th, Jimmy was sick, then I was sick, we ate a lot of carbs and turkey and pie on Thanksgiving, then went up to the hideaway for a few days.
Living downtown, we do not see trees. Sure, there are a few trees that line the streets every now and then, but 99.9% of what we see is concrete or glass. And while we still love living here and hope to live here forever, as I mentioned in my last post, I desperately miss the trees. Which seriously makes me so much more grateful that we have the hideaway to escape the concrete jungle and breath in the fresh air.
The dogwoods hadn't shed their leaves yet, and although we missed them turning red, the orange and yellows were so vibrant.
It's been a while since I've done a cabin remodel update. Here's a 2 minute video walk-through for anyone interested in seeing how it's taking shape.
Next up is adding a banister and railing to the stairs, painting, finishing the electrical, putting in new flooring. Hope that'll be done this winter, along w/ remodeling the original bathroom.
