From Sea to Shining Sea

America's celebrating her 235th birthday today. I've been blessed to have traveled a lot of this country. I've taken 2 road trips across from California to New York, plus many miscellaneous trips in between. Here are just a few of the collected snapshots I've taken of this amazing country over the years.

California. Golden Gate Bridge overlooking San Francisco, 2006.

Washington, 2009. Seattle Space Needle and Puget Sound.

Hawaii, 2006. Kipu Kai Beach Cove on the island of Kauai.

Alaska, 2004. Glacer Bay.

Arizona, 2008. Sedona.

Illinois, 2009. Chicago Skyline.

Missouri, 2001. St. Louis Arch.

Oklahoma, 2006. Memorial Site of the Oklahoma City Federal Building Bombing, Oklahoma City.

Tennessee, 2006. Graceland in Memphis.

Washington DC, 2005. The White House.

Pennsylvania, 1996. Amish Farm in Intercourse.

New Jersey, 1995. Historic mill in Clinton.

Massachusetts, 2004. Row houses in Boston.

New York, 2004. The Statue of Liberty holding her tablet with July 4, 1776 inscribed on it.

You are right, Amrica is a beautiful country full of contrasts. I'm amazed at how many of those sights I have enjoyed too.
I watched the Boston Pops and the July 4 firework display on TV yesterday, very impressive.
