San Francisco Friday

On Martin Luther King Jr Day, in front of the Museum of the African Diaspora, they had chalk out on the sidewalk for children of all ages to leave their artwork on the sidewalk.

All of them celebrated peace, unity and love. Messages that Dr. King would have approved of.

At the center of non-violence stands the principle of love. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend. -Martin Luther King, Jr.

In anwer to your previous post, my old house had wooden railings like the last one of your pictures, they had been painted every colour under the sun, and I stripped them and stained them very dark brown.
My new house has very modern oak railings, quite thin and elegant. I love some of the iron railings in your pictures, but you say they're not suitable for your hideaway.... why not? Have what you like!
PS I missed On the Table Monday this week. Naughty me.
