From wiki: The Winchester Mystery House is a well-known California mansion that was under construction continuously for 38 years, and is reported to be haunted. It once was the personal residence of Sarah Winchester, the widow of gun magnate William Wirt Winchester, but is now a tourist attraction.
After her husband died, a psychic told Mrs. Winchester that she would have to "build a home for yourself and for the spirits who have fallen from this terrible weapon (the Winchester Rifle). You must never stop building the house. If you continue building, you will live forever. But if you stop, then you will die."

And as you may imagine, there are widely famous rumors that the mansion is still haunted by either Mrs. Winchester or all the spirits who she was trying to appease.

OK, that one worked so I'll try again.
That's a fabulous old house, and a great story to go with it. I'd love to have a look around it. Perhaps I could pwersuade some of the ghosts to come and haunt my house for a while, it could be a selling point!!
And anyway, musically speaking, "do you know the way to San Jose? I've been away too long, I might get lost and lose my way....."
