Spring crafting

Last Monday at stamp club, Chris showed us how to make these fancy shadowbox triptics.

You could put a photo in the center, or some quilled or decoupaged flowers. Here's Chris' sample and this is Kristina's cheery cherry sample.

I designed this card for my mother's day card and I made an extra one to give to Kristina because I used CTMH stamps and papers. Only trouble is the card doesn't fit in an envelope so it's hard to mail! Thankfully I saw my MIL in person and could give her the card sans envy.

Those cards are truly lovely! You're such a clever crafty girl. My crafting skills have declined recently.... I've been so busy with the variety show and also with painting and carpeting in my house... thinking of selling and downsizing. Such a stressful thought. You better come and stay for a holiday quick while I still have room for you!!!
