Is it just me, or does Christmas music bring you to tears sometimes? I was at a friends blog and was reminded of this.
Almost every time I hear "Oh Holy Night" I burst into tears during the "Fall on your knees" part.
Other weep-worthy Christmas songs are:
Oh Come All Ye Faithful
Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
Away in a Manger
Plus I always get goosebumps during Gloria, Hosanna in excelsis in Ding Dong Merrily On High.
What are you favorite Christmas songs?

I hear ya, I cry every time I hear Amazing Grace ...
Just about anything can make me cry...ha ha! I'm not really into Christmas songs of the religious persuasion, but I do love "Sleigh Ride," especially the version by The Carpenters.
Fourth verse of Silent Night when everyone raises their candle up. Or when they sing the German words.
yup, Christmas songs make me cry too...all of them no matter if they are about bells or Him. My dad loved I'll Be Home For Christmas for some reason....he wasn't ever in the Armed Forces but it meant something to him and made him sad.
Such a beatiful version of the song. I must confess, I cried during the singing of "Silent Night" by candlelight at a Christmas Eve service. So moving.
