Just got back from a few days at the hideaway, a much needed getaway to relax and get ready for the upcoming fun and frenzied weeks till the New Year. I'm feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world!

Last week was full of crafting activities. Almost all of my Christmas cards are done and addressed. I had a local crafting get together with friends on Tuesday and I taught glass soldering Thursday night at another one of my monthly get-togethers.

Friday, Jimmy and I went to the Bowen's for dinner and Miss A made us this cute card:
Pretty darn cute turkey! She's very craft and loves to read, too. Of course, I will put this in one of my "Auntie" Madeline albums and cherish it forever.

Also on Friday, I became an "Auntie" again! Whooo hoooo! Love me my nieces and nephews.

Thanksgiving will be at my SIL's in Morro Bay. This year, a few of our nearest and dearest won't be able to feast with us, but they will be in our hearts no matter the distance. I'll be making my totally un-traditional wontons for Thanksgiving appetizers.

I wish you a wonderful, delightful and delicious Thanksgiving. And if Thanksgiving isn't a holiday you celebrate, I wish you a wonderful, delightful and delicious Thursday!
