Happy Easter!

Celebrated a great Easter day in Skagit County enjoying the tulips with my cousin and her family. A beautiful day surrounded by oh so many colorful flowers! Forecasts predicted rain, but as you can see in the pic, we avoided it, hurray! It's raining now, but we're safely tucked in our room, relaxing for the rest of our evening.

Hope you all had or are having a wonderful Easter day, too.

Ohhhhhhhh, that is so pretty! The hubs and I went to college in B'ham just 30 min. away from Skatgit county. We always loved driving past these in the spring.
Glad you had a wonderful time with the family.
Hugs,
a.

Okay so for the first time ever I've ventured away from nudge-nudge to view your actual blog. And may I just say WOW at the picture posted right here. That's like something out of the Wizard of Oz... complete with technicolor! Gorgeous. I hope you won't mind if I add your blog to the sidebar of my blog. From what I see here, I'd like to read words from you more often.

I missed it this year. And it looks like, from your photos, it was a spectacular one. Isn't it COLD there? And there is nothing like seeing a field full of flowers, the dense sense of color in person. It is always a joy. And I am now sad I missed it. Thank you for you photos! To document what a wonderful event that is.
