Jimmy and I watched the fireworks in San Francisco from Treasure Island. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We had never been on TI before, so that alone was a treat. But we had the best view of the fireworks. That's the Bay Bridge to the left.
Earlier in the day, it was pouring buckets. But by 5pm, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. And when we got to Treasure Island, exactly at midnight, it was a very comfortable 53 degrees. We have our challenges, but sometimes...things work out perfectly.
(I just wish I had my tripod!)

Wow, the most we got were the popping of some firecrackers from the kids down the street and the locomotives in the trainyards blowing their whistles!
Great shot!
