Old Soulsbyville Sawmill

We've had the cabin in the Sierra's for 6 years and there's this one road that we've never driven down. A few weeks ago, I finally decided to make that left turn. I had no idea what structure this was, but happily there was a friendly gentleman in his yard and I mustered up the courage to ask him - which is out of character for me - but he said the sawmill burned down in the 80's. I've tried googling for more info but haven't been able to find anything else.

That's all there is to it. I grew up there (in the 80s) and I remember the fire.

If my memory can be trusted, it was working up until the day of the fire. Dunno when it was built, but the mill looked ancient and in poor repair before the fire.
